Howdy fellers -
Can anyone recommend a good, reputable machine shop in the area? This is not for my Mustang - it's for my '86 T-Bird. More specifically, I need to have my ported, big valve head worked on. Pressure tested, checked for flatness, cam bearings replaced, etc. It's difficult to find a place that knows anything about Ford's 2.3 turbo motor, but I figure for what I need done, any good shop should be able to get it done. I'm looking at cams and I want to put this head on the car when I get one.

Thanks,
B

The two machine shops that I trust in this area are C&C in Manassas and The Restoration Shop in Stafford. Both are Ford friendly and have websites with contact info. Dan

Quality Machine Shops are hard to find and affordability can be a issue too. I would suggest calling our sponsors as they have shops that they use and trust. I have my favorite as it completed my 414ci in a timely manner and affordable. Email me for specifics.
